Protective covers in Stamoid, Planofil and Sunbrella — the three best marine fabrics available
Covers for motor boats, sailing boats, working and leisure craft, and yachts

Frames in mirror-polished 316 stainless, 22, 25 and 30 mm tube, bent and rolled in house

Why we build the frame ourselves

A bimini is only as good as the frame under it. In 2020 we installed a fixed-radius tube bender and a variable-radius roller precisely so we would depend on nobody: we bend 316 stainless from 16 to 30 mm, polish it to a mirror finish and fit it to the boat together with the fabric.

The result is a line that genuinely follows the hull, without the corners and tolerances of off-the-shelf frames — and a structure that lasts years on the lake without a trace of corrosion.

Materials, no compromise

For marine work we use only materials and fittings built for water: no cutting corners on fabric, no hardware-store fasteners. A properly made cover protects the boat, defends its resale value and opens without a fight every time you use it.

Our four-metre travelling high-frequency welder seals PVC covers without moving the work: continuous seams and nowhere for water to get in.

Looking after the fabric

A Sunbrella cover cleaned properly lasts twice as long. On request we supply the official marine fabric care sheets in Italian and German, and our shop stocks the right cleaning and proofing products.

Frequently asked questions

Which fabric suits a winter storage cover?

For outdoor winter storage we recommend Stamoid or Planofil: waterproof, high-frequency weldable and resistant to snow and UV. Sunbrella, acrylic and breathable, is the right choice for canopies and biminis used underway.

Can you measure with the boat in the water?

Yes. We work with the boat ashore at the yard or afloat on its berth, and we can reach it on the mooring buoy with our own boat.

Do you transport the boat to the workshop?

Yes. Our trailers and trade plates let us move boats up to around 11 metres for a full refit under proper working conditions.
