It depends on the fabric (Stamoid, Planofil or Sunbrella), the area and the fixing system. Send the quote form and you will have a written price within two working days. A visit to take measurements on the boat is always required before we confirm.

The rough estimate is: the one you get through the online form or after a phone call. A detailed quote, with a site visit and worked-out solutions, costs CHF 150.– including VAT, deducted in full if you then give us the job. Boat covers are the exception: for those the measuring visit is free. We say so up front: a detailed study takes time and expertise, and sometimes it ends up being used elsewhere or only for an insurance claim. Clear rules from the start let us give every project the time it needs to find the best solution.

It depends on what is being renewed: the canvas alone, or the frame and side curtains as well. A new Bimini top canvas takes about three working days; a complete new bimini, frame and side curtains included, two to three weeks. We suggest booking work like this for the winter, so you are not left waiting through the season.

In winter. In spring everyone wants their boat ready at the same moment and lead times grow; order in the colder months and we can measure without rushing and have the work ready when the season starts.

Yes. We serve the whole of Switzerland and collect boats and vehicles on our own trailers. In aviation we operate across Europe through the Ferry service.

Yes, for years we have been the outside upholstery shop for several yards on Lake Maggiore: B2B price list, measuring at your yard — several boats in one day if needed — timing that fits your work plan, and a single invoice at the end of the month.

It depends on the material, on sun and rain, and above all on how it is looked after. If the cover is regularly inspected, washed and re-proofed, single-side PVC-coated fabrics can be expected to last around twelve seasons instead of five: that is what we do with EPICO CARE, our yearly programme for looking after your covers. On request we also give you the official cleaning guides for marine fabrics, in Italian and German.

Yes, with EPICO CARE: we wash them, restore the fabric’s water repellency and keep them in our dry winter store, labelled and logged, ready to go back on at the start of the season.

Yes: repairs, replacement of zips, LOXX and Tenax fasteners and reinforcement, whoever made the cover, as long as the fabric is still sound.

Yes. Our professional ten-colour embroidery machine stitches names, logos and designs up to 30 × 27 cm: on covers and cushions, motorbike seats and car interiors.

Yes. While we work you can follow progress remotely through a private webcam and, if you wish, the car can be tracked with a GPS locator. It travels on our own trailer, on trade plates with fully comprehensive insurance.

Yes, in our shop: fittings, LOXX and Tenax fasteners, bimini parts and products for washing and proofing marine fabrics, shipped anywhere in Switzerland. Boatyards and resellers get B2B prices.

For outdoor winter storage we recommend Stamoid or Planofil: waterproof, high-frequency weldable and resistant to snow and UV. Sunbrella, acrylic and breathable, is the right choice for canopies and biminis used underway.

Yes. We work with the boat ashore at the yard or afloat on its berth, and we can reach it on the mooring buoy with our own boat.

Yes. We tow boat trailers up to 6 tonnes with our own vehicles, and our transport partners handle larger boats. That way the refit happens in the workshop, under proper working conditions.

Yes, that is our default approach: we source period materials and reproduce stitching, piping and quilting to factory specification. Where a material is no longer available we propose the closest alternative and put it to you before we proceed.

Generally four to ten weeks, depending on material availability and complexity. We give you a realistic window with the quote.

Yes: motorcycle seats with custom embroidery, trim for modern vehicles, motorhomes and caravans, and bound carpets made to measure.

Yes. We work only with materials carrying the conformity documentation required by FAA, FAR and EASA, and we hand it over with the work for the aircraft file.

That is how we prefer to work. Coordinating with the maintenance organisation means the aircraft is grounded only once.

Yes: no sign-up, no usage limits and no personal data required.

They stay in your device's browser, where the PDF is created too. All we receive is an anonymous count of how often the tool was used.

Yes, they are designed for the boatyard too: large fields, a readable diagram and the PDF straight on your phone.

The calculations are carefully made and used daily in our workshop, but they remain indicative: always check the measurements before cutting.
